Matthew Masone began his legal career in 2002 as a law clerk before obtaining his Juris Doctorate degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 2005 with cum laude honors. Since being admitted to the New York State Second Department bar in 2006, Mr. Masone has dedicated his practice to Workers Compensation law and is currently head of the workman’s comp department at Severance, Burko, Spalter, Masone & Laurette PC. He assists clients with claims preparation and filing, benefit negotiations, settlement agreements and represents clients on appeal when necessary. With over a decade of personal legal experience, Mr. Masone works hard advocating for working class New York citizens who have been hurt on the job and are entitled to benefits.
